Church 101

A five-week Introduction

Many people long for a small, simple and committed church experience but, either haven’t found the right fit or don’t know how such a group functions. Church 101 is a virtual, discussion-based “course” offered by the Summit Fellowships community of simple churches to introduce you to the rhythms of “tiny-church” life. It is five-session, no-obligation exploration of being church. At the end of the course you may want to search for a group to be a part of, invite some friends to create one with you, or continue as a member of what we call a “Green Room” where you can wait for the Lord’s direction, while learning more about life in a church of the heart.

If you would like to learn more, we would be happy to set up an introductory video conference where we can explain the Church 101 series. The Summit Fellowships offer these sessions to anyone who lives in the Portland, Oregon vicinity. If you live outside of the area, you are still welcome to join in on the Summit Fellowships course, but our hope is that participants can meet personally in the future. If you live too far away that won’t be possible. You can also sign up for similar courses through Luke 10, from whom we borrowed much of the Church 101 material. Their virtual meetings may include participants from around the world. If you’d like to set up an intro call to find out more, email us at summitfellowships@gmail.com.
