Much of American church life tends toward individualism. From a “personal” testimony and our “personal” relationship with Jesus, we can be practitioners of a solitary faith. In reality, God has chosen to not only dwell within believers, but also among them. “Christ in us” is as important as “Christ in me.” His church is a new creation, made up of new creations.
